		<description>This seems to good and helpful advice.  However, some lenders, Chase to be exact, will not refinance their own car loans, regardless of how good a client you were (one late payment in 5 years), or if it is under $7,000.  Don&#039;t waste your time there.
  
Also - don&#039;t fall for the &#039;Save The Auto-Iron Clad&#039; site.  Not only do they not have any other advice to offer if the refinance attempt with your lender fails, as it did with Chase - (you would think they should know what the larger lenders will or will not do if they charge a fee), but they try to keep the fee, not deliver what they guaranteed, and try to quibble about 1 or 2 days time in mailing, when they refuse to return calls (the number is listed on their site) for weeks on end.

Hopefully, the information on this page is more helpful to needy consumers like myself.
